David joined Castle Law as counsel in January 2019, having spent almost 30 years as a partner of one of Canada‘s largest law firms, where he was the leader of its national business law group and the head of their US markets practice.

 

Having represented many entrepreneurs as well as various franchisors, David understands the franchise business very well which allows him to provide practical and timely advice to those who want to be franchisees.

 

David is recognized as a leading lawyer in Canada for corporate law, particularly in the area of buying and selling businesses. A former lecturer at Osgoode Hall Law School, David serves or has served on the boards of several private and public corporations, charities and not-for-profit companies.

 

David loves helping new business men and women navigate the legal issues they face when they go into business.
